I had a chat with somebody I know the other day regarding tuition fee in University and Colleges. I remember the time when I was in College and it's hard for my parents to send us all to High School and College all at once. Even if my dearly beloved Mother and Father both worked and receiving benefits still is not enough. I don't really know how the family of today can afford to send their own children to school. Can you just believe that an institution not a University asked tuition fee as high as 19,000 to 20,000 pesos/semester  and University asked 45,000 pesos per semester? That's totally unbelievable! What a BS!!!!!!!! Who can afford that? With low paying job? That's a totally, totally BSSSSSSS!!!!What the hell happened to the schools over there? It's more like BUSINESS! It's no longer an establishment meant for higher education but higher tuition fees. Tell the management of that school that you are not renting a condominium. You are there to study!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is something wrong with them. Really! Ask the management, ask the Ministry of Education who should be watchful, observant and be vigilant of excess use of power by uplifting not the standard of  education but making the Filipino students "poorer" and depressed. It is disgusting that these Universities have to compete with universities from other countries. It's okay for American, Canadian and European countries to have higher tuition fees because the salary is appropriate. They were PAID in DOLLARS and EUROS unlike in Philippines wherein they are paid in pesos! There is something wrong with how they manage the schools there. Unless of course if they knew that they have to compete with foreign national students who tried to avail of the Philippine educational system. You know what they have to do? Filipino students should have given priority in the school system in the Philippines. Discounted tuition fees or scholarships granted to those who are worthy and that will make it fair and just for low income families whose children are and should be benefited from the wealth of the nation. No wonder why the UP students usually raised their voice, always out of their university, on a walkathon bearing placards out on the streets having demonstrations for the government to know and be informed that there is something wrong with how they manage the school system and how they accept students with the means to boot off students from the low income families but not looking at the merit each students are known for. What they are doing probably is a sign of eliminating students. Uhm, that could be the most logical way to eliminate students in a very populated area. Logical!!?

In Canada there is that QUOTA program wherein the schools and university allow a significant logistic or number of students for each subject, room, school, and how a teacher can able to teach or allowed in her schedule. Always the NUMBER of students in a classroom is the main priority for the teacher to know in advance. Reason: budget. If she's below quota then she wont attend the class and the budget is taken away from her and move on to another location and find the desirable quota numbers of students. The problem is the students don't receive their school payment back to their own pocket. Or if there would be refund then it's gonna be a lot of discussions and reason might end up in court. From what I've learned here or let's be specific that teachers or professors in College would rather take foreign students instead because of their devotion and diligence and most of all they were here to STUDY not work. They know that they are here not to work therefore they have the means to provide their schooling and its paid by their rich wealthy parents. Is that a joke or what? I can't believe that too. Professors here in Canada would rather teach or give lecture to foreigners rather than the locals. Seemed unbelievable but it's true eh? Then I think that's logical in a way that they can CONCENTRATE and contribute with the school program unlike the locals who are unable to concentrate despite that they studying in their own land because mostly they are "working students." I can feel the real truth about that story. Working students seemed to be most grumpy all the time. Even at work they have problem concentrating because they worried about their studies, exams, projects, etc. While at school the same thing, they have problem with inattention because they think about their work. Their schedule and many stress and what else could be the exact problem? OVER FATIGUE! You really cannot serve two masters at the same time. Time consuming, exerting too much effort and energy all end up in disorientation and failing health. may i remind you of the TYPE A students and workers. MOst of them end up in the hospital because of heart attack, suicide and lastly death,  then who's to be blamed after that?

When life is too much to bear RELAX, THINK of the good things that happened to you. Nobody's perfect. There are too many wealthy people in this world that are unhappy. You are still lucky you can smile, laugh and you have a good family. While other people don't have anybody to smile or laugh at. They don't know who they are, worse is they cannot function because they don't have hands, they have no legs, some are blind, and deaf mute, others have disabilities worse than what you have. You are healthy  human being why don't you use your head? Even millionaires WORK. They do. They are not afraid to work even if they have to work as a cook, dishwasher and be a MAID! There are so many beautiful maid, servants who are willing to WORK rather than be a prosti. You know what I mean? What made you different from the rest of the people who find work or working just to earn in a very decent way? JUST WORK and study later. I hope this advice will find you in a better light.

To: Reyna  Elena (Whoever You Are!) You have such a brilliant project in your community. Your PEN & PENCIL Project is good and maybe next time you'll include pad paper and notebook + Crayons! (LOL). By the way, I am not Kris Aquino.
