Do you think this is the final goodbye to politics from the Honorable former PM Stephen Harper?
I doubt it. He is currently working for the Heritage Calgary as told in the news so there is that hint that he can still comeback to the Parliament if need be.
The man as a former Prime Minister and has worked for the Canadian people for the past 12 years and had achievements and accomplishments such as the: Universal Child Care Benefit, better Health Care Plans, Pension plans for seniors, Income Splitting for Seniors, Home Renovation project, Less Tax for taxpayers and more refunds for families, Carbon tax payment, Loans and Grants for HS Students, Sports Initiatives, and other small claims under the Finance Minister Flaherty (RIP) of the Balanced Budget. I think the economy is better under the Harper Government.
When the Forest Industry was all time low after the Liberal Party's reign, after all the pulp mill shut down and sawmills the shipping of forest products, pulp, and other raw materials brought the economy down losing billions of dollars for the economy all these problems were at least half resolved under Harper's Government. Less forest product input and output (less exportation of forest products) but more improvement in the housing sector (many houses and buildings were built in Canada led to having employment for construction companies), fishing industry, tourism, media, tele- communications. Everything's fine already then they had the provision to eliminate the red tape and the BILL C 51. Then the McDuffy case. Bill C51 and McDuffy's the end of the Harper Government. What's the bad thing about it?
People thought when The leader is so angst about $90,000 for McDuffy to pay what he owed then people thought the Conservative Party don't have much money reserve or their finance is too small to govern. Really?
I think $90,000 is too much to be of a "free gift." It's just that they probably so accountable with anything with numbers. They have check and balance and $90,000 is such a big sum of money to hide. That's equivalent to 3, 150,000 in pesos. You can have a mansion in Philippines for that amount.
Anyway, the political tirade in Canada is not as bad as in the Philippines. Mr. Harper is just not a "selfie guy." He is a talented man who can sing and play the piano. Who knows he could be a movie actor in his dreams. He doesn't mingle or want to be associated with people who wear masks. I wont either. Maskmen? Are they robbers? Whatever! I think he is one of the best Prime Ministers of Canada. He worked for the best of the country Canada and just like other Prime Ministers ahead of him he could end up in the Hall of Fame for integrity and honesty. He is a man whom you can't bully or be pushover to something that he is not comfortable with.
Mr. McDuffy has been cleared and the Conservative Party has been cleared of negativity and it's time to move on.
