I CAN PLAY MY OWN GAME

I always see this advertisement on TV about FORGED (OF) EMPIRE. I told myself one day I will play that game. However until now I haven't sign in to that interesting and very challenging game through the internet.

Anyway, here's what I did when I saw their ad through the web.

Originally, in their FOE ad was a Medieval scenery only.

I had added some of the farm animals and small boats on the water. Next time have to build a city and the whole civilization. Hey I can do it in my mind, in my artworks. I don't need to log in to that website's video game.

What do you think?

There are so many various interesting that you can create and build...

How about a gorge?

WHY BEAVER IS THE NATIONAL ANIMAL OF CANADA?

BEAVER is the National Animal of Canada because they are VERY SMART! Just like most mammals beavers are nocturnal, maternal... they love and protect their own children, their own kind and the web of life. Their existence is more like symbiotic to nature conservation and its habitat formation and sanctuary.

Though their habitat is at the wetlands or estuary, and their entrance and exit's from watery zone, the beaver family likes warm, dry home. Humans are in the same condition of being warm and dry inside their home. Nobody likes being wet all day and night or you will get sick.

IN REMEMBRANCE: Lest We Forget

EVERYBODY's doing it in advance... wonder why. lol

So, the REMEMBRANCE DAY celebration is actually November 11, 2025 Tuesday. However, so many patrons, veterans, soldiers and military dependents already had it celebrated last week, yesterday Sunday which is "Church-day."  A celebration with a mass.

There is nothing wrong in celebration with advance date.

In Remembrance: Lest We Forget the men and women in uniform who sacrificed their own lives to save, rescue, protect and serve the people who are in dire need and those humans oppressed, depressed and suffering  at war.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE. 💓🙌🙏

HAPPY HALLOWEEN In Advance!

I had just started the 4th Sketch Book and that Book would be a collection of everything Christmas, from Nativity Scenes, The 3 Kings, Snowy Winter Wonderland, Snowman, Beautiful Birds, Winter Outdoor scenes, and many spectacular view of what Winter is all about.

For the meantime, let us have HALLOWEEN first. I know some people already had their celebration of Halloween spooky fun days as  early as first week of October.

ENLIGHTENMENT

There are too many topic and too many subjects to tackle in a blog however we cannot have all of them posted here. First of all we cannot blog about taboos, forbidden stories, banned subject just like banned books are not allowed to be read. Did you know that the HOLY BIBLE was forbidden to read by ordinary people during the 15th to 18th Century in Philippines. Only the Spanish friars, priest, monarch, scholars who can read them. Dr. Jose P. Rizal was able to read the Holy Bible when he went abroad. Only then in 21st Century that the Holy Bible was read all over the world and was translated into different languages.

It's almost 8 am and it is still dark outside. DST Daylight Savings Time soon on November 2, 2025

There are group of people who would rather not have DST. They were already enlightened.😇

EGYPTIAN ART & Other Artworks

I like all kinds of ARTS. If I can draw or paint about it then why not try different kind of arts. So here is something different... Egyptian Art.

How about IMITATION ART? Uhm, you know I can try but wont completely imitate as a respect for the original painting. Imitation is a  great compliment!

OPHELIA? It's my Ofelia...

I had chosen my own favorite flowers.

SCHULZ SNOOPY... to my own Snoopy celebrating Autumn, Halloween, Thanksgiving & Christmas.

Hmm... The world is your oyster? LOL. That's a Giant Shell With A Virgin

MALAKAS & MAGANDA from a Filipino Folk Tale

HOLLAND TULIP FIELDS. Or is it called Amsterdam now?

ELEPHANT FAMILY

Another addition to my collection of "Elephant."  A happy family of elephants frolic on the lily pond on a warm, sunny Saturday morning.

HAPPY OR NOT? CHOOSE HAPPINESS INSTEAD!

EDUCATION is simply the soul of society as it passes from one generation to another.

HAPPY LITERACY DAY!👍🙌

Happy or not, please choose HAPPINESS instead.

BYE BYE SUNFLOWERS!

This is what September looks like in our previous home, sometime in the Year 2019 &  2020. September is the moments of harvesting the last of the veggies: cabbages, tomatoes, dragon tongue beans, zucchinis and cucumber, dahlias,  not to forget the sunflowers.

Once the sunflowers are harvested... the weather temperature cools down. Well, hope that helps.

From looking at those pictures of sunflowers heads you can visualize the sizes as real, real big.

The florets size ranged from 14 inches to 16 inches in sizes - in diameter.

The size of biggest platter.

UPDATE:

The weather temp. cools down to 17 Celsius. That's WOW! THANK GOD!🙏

BOOKS & THE INCREDIBLE KNOWLEDGE OF KNOWING

OK, have to answer a blog writer's question on: What Books Have Shaped You through the Years.

Before entering primary School, my first book was my sister and brother's book YOUR COUNTRY AND MINE. It is hardbound book in green color. How I was able to read early? My Lola (Grandma) had  hundreds of comics (komiks) she rented at the front porch of our house. I was one of those readers. Then when I was in Grade Six, my favourite book was THE WORLD HISTORY authored by Gregorio F. Zaide. The most read pages were EGYPT. I had that extra fascination and obsession about Egypt and the pyramid. lol

When I was in High School, once again had the High School's textbook WORLD HISTORY by Gregorio F. Zaide, including Dr. Jose P. Rizal's NOLI ME TANGERE & EL FILIBUSTERISMO.

When I was in University, two of my textbooks: INTRODUCTION TO PSYCHOLOGY by Atkinsons & Hilgard  then ECONOMICS by Blomqvist & Wonnacott. I read THE HOLY BIBLE at the time when I was already working.

Then before age 30, I found this book very interesting. SAINT BERNADETTE Peasant of Lourdes.

The Sacred Grotto where miraculous water has found to be of cure to many ailments.

I was not sick. I was perfectly healthy but my mind's thinking of becoming a respectable nun.

M A D R E.

Years had passed at age 40, somebody had gifted me a whole set of encyclopedia THE NEW BOOK OF KNOWLEDGE from A to Z. Then a whole set of NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC Magazines (Year 1900 to Year 2003). OMG!! I never thought would ever finished reading all those stuff. I became a bookworm. You know what? You wont believe if you have all these stuff when you are in Grade Schools and High School? You will end up a genius or be the teacher in your class. Well only if what you read will stick in your brain, in your memories like YOU BEING A COMPUTER with GYGABITES OF INFORMATION. You will end up like the robotic machine and be with the AI you never imagine exist.

Later on reading BOOKS authored by famous novelist WILBUR SMITH and DAN BROWN.

HAPPY ELEPHANT DAY!

Today is World's ELEPHANT DAY. Some people celebrate it on the 12th. How are we to celebrate Elephant today... maybe through its specialization in carrying heavy loads. There are many novels depicting elephants, so many elephants described in Wilbur Smith's novels such as Elephant Song, Ghostfire, and through the many pages in the Courtney's & Ballantyne saga.

Another name for elephant is pachyderm. Oh, there is that famous cartoon movie "Dumbo" wherein a cute baby elephant is the lead character.

I love elephants. I collected several elephant figurines and lost few of them. Fortunately I still owned 4 of them and on display on my Busch cabinet and I also like drawings and digital painting  of elephants.

This Blue mystic enchanted elephant is my first digital painting.

The 3 elephants under the baobab trees.

I always like elephants in waterfalls setting because elephants love to bathe.

Elephants love water solitude.

Mother & daughter elephants.

Circus elephant.
