TRANSFORMATIONS ON THE SHORE

My friend and  I were passing by Willow Point Area in CAMPBELL RIVER, BC when I noticed lots of logs at Frank James Park which I think the Transformation On The Shore - Wood Carving Contest will take place before JULY 1st, 2025.

Every year this fun event is being watched by curious observers, locals and tourists wanting to know the artisans creative imagination will take place and what they can do with their carver's tools. 

The Transformation On The Shore had its beginning with Chikite's woodcarving of an "Octopus" and that was the very first start of the creativity woodcarving contest that is being held year after year also in celebration with CANADA DAY  First of July.

BEING AMORSOLO FOR A DAY OR TWO

The drawing images here were inspired from the original painting of famous Filipino painter Amorsolo.
 

When I was in Elementary my teacher teased me I am the female Amorsolo because I won  the contest in a Drawing Contest against many finalists in the Five School Districts of Makati in 1976. In the school parade I was wearing a white robe with easel to portray as "the female Amorsolo." I know that Amorsolo is the National Painter of the Philippines and in my opinion, I am not worthy. I mean to be compared to a great man... not my cup of tea but if that calls for a "costume sort of for the parade" why not? I love Halloween costumes! lol

If I have to remember my winning piece of art way back Grade School - it was a Camp Setting for the Girl Scouts in a forest with a waterfalls nearby. Girl Scouts setting up a campfire, girls gathering firewood, and setting up tents. 

In 1976, I was chosen to join the PRC Philippine Red Cross together with other military dependents for a camp in Caliraya Lake island. We built tents, we had a bonfire, programs for talented kids to perform in singing and dancing, performed skills, opera like drama or sing and song dance sequences. I was a very young girl way back then but I was chosen to be a leader of the group of kids when I was just a kid myself. Bong Lapira's nieces and nephew voted me to be their leader and the task is overwhelming for me because we have to represent better than the other kids (dependents/sons and daughters of Navy, Army, Marines officers)  knowing my members were related to a famous journalist. We are all military sons and daughters anyway so what the heck. Do what we can despite of any obstacles. It was such a challenge so accept the challenge wholeheartedly. WE DID IT! We made it happened with flying colors.

NOTE: I don't really need to expose the truth of this matter. Just that it calls for TRUE STORY writing whether you believe it or not... I don't care!

To have proof of evidence just to say it is the TRUTH when my own surname VERDAD means the TRUTH. What proof you need?

BIG GIANT EARS: Artificial Intelligence

 YOU KNOW WHAT'S WRONG WITH AI? 

I will tell you what's wrong with AI or Artificial Intelligence. YOU HAVE TO BE VERY AFRAID.

Whether you like it or not AI will be on your cellphones, computers, laptops and all those electronics. THE AI robots are always LISTENING and watching, checking whatever you are doing to your electronics. They are the WATCHERS. You can't see them but they can see you, HEAR and almost KNOW what you are doing.

SCARY? Hmm...

MY DIGITAL CAMERA is malfunctioning for whatever reason. Every time I took photos my camera will post a message Cannot display image. This is for certain images only that maybe doesn't concern the AI Robot. Or whoever is the hacker. It is my Camera FGS! My camera doesn't have that kind of anomaly or any other connections or what to whoever...it is a camera. How could it link to something, somebody or somewhere else? Could be the SD digital memory chip for the camera has its own "remote command? from an AI" I don't need AI Robot FGS. I mean the AI revolution is very common now and they think that everything is under their control.

Anyway, that situation didn't happen for any reason or it didn't happen once but several times this week. When I upload some of those images in the picture folder file same thing happened. The images wont upload or download and even if I took photos again and again same thing happened that I cannot display those images  which are in "drawings."

I was thinking how I cannot display those drawings but its okay to post & display other drawings? 

What's wrong? The memory chip is 128 GB. I only used less than 1 GB, its not even catapulted to 50 to 100 photos which is just maybe 10 MB in proportion  so its not something about storage. 

I hope that wont happen to our TV because recently, we discovered that cellphone if its not off and if you have it ON it has listening device and the LISTENER there just like Alexa has BIG EARS. I first thought ONLY WALLS HAVE EARS. Darn it. Ha ha ha! 

Not just about AI. It has something to do with RFI or RADIO FREQUENCY INTERFERENCE.

So if Artificial Intelligence will rule our world and mess up with our electronics who we can trust in the internet? 

Maybe the CHATBOT is lonely nobody to chat with.

How about CHATBOT should chat with ZINGBOT? 

That would be a riot! LOL
