There are hundreds of fresh produce out there in the form of vegetables and I could only remember 47 of them.
Among this long list there are at least three veggies I don't eat such as Katuray, Saluyot and Alukbati. The three vegetables I mentioned are favorite veggies by the Ilocanos (people fron the Northern part of Luzon).

Who would have thought that these yellow-orange flowers are edible?
They are handpicked fresh from the garden of my Sister Emmy and brother-in-law Romy.

This is how I cooked it with fresh Chinook salmon. The best method is cook or grill the salmon first on your grill bbq. Then let the coconut milk ( one can- 1 cup) boil on your pan, heating the coconut milk, stir it gently first before you add the grilled salmon and the rest of the ingredients: flowers, jalapenos, salt, pepper, and sliced ginger. Cooking time: 40 minutes on medium heat. The coco milk not enough? Add another can of coconut milk that's been heated before to make it creamy and tasty. The Chinook is a variety or species of salmon that has a different taste (tambakol), color of skin, scale, and size and shape from among other salmon species. Other salmons have orange or peach salmon features and colors and this kind of fish -Chinook has white or cream colored, grey outside but white color inside. To tell you the truth the taste is simply irresistible "parang lasang tuna."
Tutuo nga!
Now I know why somebody said that the taste of tuna and salmon is just the same. It turned out he cooked and tasted the Chinook not the sockeye, coho, and pink. I don't know how many variety or species of salmon. Why don't you go to the Pier and find it out from the posters posted on the wall? Or you can google them on your computer. Nah, let me google it for you.
There are 6 known or popular SALMONS in Canada such as:
CHINOOK, SOCKEYE, COHO, CHUM, PINK, STEELHEAD

It will be SOCKEYE Fishing Season soon and so many fishermen and avid anglers are waiting for this event to happen and manifest along the waters of British Columbia. Sockeye is the world's prized fish because it's the most expensive salmon.
