BEAVER is the National Animal of Canada because they are VERY SMART! Just like most mammals beavers are nocturnal, maternal... they love and protect their own children, their own kind and the web of life. Their existence is more like symbiotic to nature conservation and its habitat formation and sanctuary.
Though their habitat is at the wetlands or estuary, and their entrance and exit's from watery zone, the beaver family likes warm, dry home. Humans are in the same condition of being warm and dry inside their home. Nobody likes being wet all day and night or you will get sick.
