Today is World's ELEPHANT DAY. Some people celebrate it on the 12th. How are we to celebrate Elephant today... maybe through its specialization in carrying heavy loads. There are many novels depicting elephants, so many elephants described in Wilbur Smith's novels such as Elephant Song, Ghostfire, and through the many pages in the Courtney's & Ballantyne saga.
Another name for elephant is pachyderm. Oh, there is that famous cartoon movie "Dumbo" wherein a cute baby elephant is the lead character.
I love elephants. I collected several elephant figurines and lost few of them. Fortunately I still owned 4 of them and on display on my Busch cabinet and I also like drawings and digital painting of elephants.
I always like elephants in waterfalls setting because elephants love to bathe.
Elephants love water solitude.
