Pikon Ka Na Ba?

I'm always been avid fan of an ancient Japanese movie based on the shogun dynasty. Shogun means military dictator. .. just in case you don't know the definition. Since at a very young age when television is the only tech set that I could see in our living room aside from the Akai tape recorder stereo of my father. I am the TV addict that I used to be. Anything about television shows from 1970 I know from the heart. From the oldest movie stars to the Disney animated characters or from the Warner Bros. Yeah I know not only the walking newspaper but I am the walking TV.

There was a particular channel wherein at night at about 9pm I have to watch the Japanese movie, actually a tele-series of the Shogunate of Tokugawa and the cute baby named Daigoro. Also another Japanese actor who is known as the blind samurai named " Shintaro" the blind samurai who is a crime fighter. He was blind but his perception was very sharp and he is incredibly a shogun master. He has a partner in crime prevention and his name as I remember was Kobe. Imagine the old TV series was wayback 1970-1975. I asked my Japanese friend if she knows Shintaro because he was very popular in the Philippines. Know what? She doesn't know about him and I couldn't stare at her face. How could she doesn't know one of them? Then I stared at the photograph of Shintaro one more time and sigh...yeah right he is a clone of Fernando Poe Jr. Oh my God! Okay just kidding. I first thought I was watching another version of AI.

Anyway, the picture above with the Japanese lady wearing a Japanese kimono holding an exquisite unique drum was given to me by my friend. Nice eh? I could have asked for a "bonsai" instead. Ahahahhaa. Speaking of the oldest bonsai alive which is over hundred years old is worth fifty thousands ----in dollars! Yes dudette that's how valuable and expensive bonsais are.

Enough of my Jap venture for you know what? My daughter's into Jap pokemon wherein all animal animated creatures can talk except of course for one yellow and black color rabbit named Pikachu.

Pika-pika!
