There are numerous games and sports at the OLYMPIC GAMES and you only have two eyes and vision to wander and wonder around however if you have a television with all the channels for the OLYMPICS viewing... however, there are channels that their focus on few particular games only. They too cannot be on different places at one time. Unless if those Sports news channels have hundreds of staff/cameramen who can manage to angle their cameras on every sports or games in the arena, stadium or at River Seine where the Swimming marathon is happening.

You have to remember that there are thousands of athletes in different countries participating in this one of a life time Games showcasing the greats. Just the athletes alone for Canada is about 357 plus their coaches and delegation for the Games. USA has the most participating athletes higher than in numbers from among other countries. 500+ ? with Oylmpian athlete/gymnast superstar Simon Biles leading with too many Olympic medals for their Team.
