Right now, we are experiencing a storm without a name at the island of V. Too many mild storms had passed and gone but every month I must tell you had its impact on falling trees on electric post lines. An old growth tree had fallen yesterday and was cut for firewood and my hubby was called by S. just in case we need firewood. Eh? We don't have a fireplace at the townhouse. My sister has a wood fireplace so hubby called my brother-in-law to gather those free firewood for their fireplace. At least they don't need to buy firewood.
It's windy today. The trees are swaying crazy and the power lines are shaking to the beat of the gusty wind. I wonder why there's no name given to a storm here at the island. If this is a typhoon in Philippines the one we have today is category 2 1/2. lol. Well, depends on what part you are at the island. If you live closer to the beach and the waves over 5 ft to 10ft then it's Category 4. We live on higher ground level of the island far from the beach area.
I only had a piece of cinnamon bun for breakfast that my hubby baked last night. Actually had a big bun + half of cinnamon bun last night and I'm still full. It was so good. Just the right amount of brown sugar and right amount of cinnamon in it.
So while the neighbors in America are celebrating their Thanksgiving Day today...
I might just greet them especially my relatives: Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends in the U.S.A.
HAPPY BLESSED THANKSGIVING DAY
& Enjoy your turkey!
