Eye Opener

Would you believe that printing a newspaper just on a single edition would cost the printer of publishing company ONE POUND OF INK?

This kind of INK covers only 100,000 square inches of surface. The surface of metals, plastic, fabric, wood and synthetic materials required different kinds of ink.

Thinking about one of my journals when I printed them is costly. How the authors of books gained profit from their book sale? That's their business-trade secret and I'm not a whistle blower when it comes to their business. It's not my business therefore I have to have my own ways and means.

There are too many books, so little time. Some books that were recently revised were already been burnt if not revised. Others were on sale at the bookstore along the shopping malls in other 3rd world countries. Millions were probably donated in libraries where its needed by the school children instead of searching for them in their computer. Probably not all books are registered or can be found in the internet.

When is the time that I was doing research about history of a Portuguese explorer only to be surprised about the change of datas. It was actually the original story of a known Portuguese adventurer changed by another author into a story of a British explorer. Though the exploration or discovery, plus the route was the same, same event and date of exploration but names were changed. The Portuguese didn't die but reported missing in action. What a joke I told myself. Thinking the presence of internet could eventually lead us reading history to a new level. Whose who to believe. Maybe in 2050 or Year 3000 the whole World History is nothing but fantasy.

Nothing but pigment of imagination thereof unless of course you have all the FACTS, ARTIFACTS and FIGURES in a museum. Goodness lots of monetary values.

Know what the topic made me think out loud simply because in that period of time exploration was in the name of King Philip of Spain and Queen Elizabeth and most of the explorers were actually Viking so for a Portuguese to do the exploration is utterly wrong. Maybe it's another kind of BS maybe portugese men of war called deadly jellyfish roaming the Pacific ocean yikkes!
