Moment of Laughter

Canada has answer for the Lemonade Guy on TV commercial. He needs to click the canada.ca site. Pambala sa Canyon! Hehehe! OMG! J/K peeps. I must be watching a lot of Airfarce.

I will soon renew my passport. I hate doing it. I hate the long processing, the waiting and all that. They should have given us the passport that will last a lifetime. But then I realized, the government has to make money. The government is also a business establishment not to forget about that. With all the processing fee that goes with every details and services rendered to its citizen and immigrants. It is from all these fees that the government officials, clerks and workers are paid for. So, now I have to understand them.

I happened to dropped by at Rick Mercer's blog. Yes dude he is a blogger too. I was fascinated and entertained about the rolls of film/pictures(slideshow) of PM Stephen Harper in his blog site. PM Harper was featured in different angles and costumes. It was funny. I had uncontrollable burst of laughter that I almost choked to death. I had to run at the kitchen to get a glass of water. Breathe...

Gheez, how can he do that? I mean why Rick Mercer is allowed to that to the Prime Minister of Canada? That's a form of insult right? Or maybe, PM Harper granted him rights to do that kind of fun stuff whatever you want to call it. In Pres. Marcos time esp. during the Martial Law years if you're caught making fun of the President you'll land in jail. Remember Ariel Ureta - the TV Host in the Philippines? On the spot while on his TV show singing "May Pulis Sa Ilalim ng Tulay?" Then he adlib some ridiculous entries on it. After that stint the policemen grabbed him and take him to the police station. I guess there's so much freedom in this country Canada that some of the people were taking it for granted.
