Don't You Forget About Me!

Today the whole Catholic devotees are celebrating Palm Sunday. I still have my blessed palm from last year. It was hanging at the knob of my china cabinet. Of all places. See this, I'm just typing this one and Blogger issued a warning. What's wrong with my text? That's where I placed my palmera or "palaspas." Something wrong? I have it there for a year now.

I'm thinking of having the same picture of palm to upload here but maybe I will just find another photo somewhere. I want a colorful palm with beautiful decorations on it. Ah, coconut...this country should have coconut groves. But it's impossible. No coconut tree will ever grow in this icy cold country.

I remember the time when we had our summer holiday in the province of Pangasinan and I saw this small coconut and I told myself I will bring it to Canada and plant it. Silly me! "Don't you ever dare," my husband warned me with his sharp eyes staring at me like a lion king. Hehe!
Where's Timon and Pumba? Hakuna Matata!

I didn't bring the coconut plant . I just told the Immigration officer, I brought some seeds, but they were sealed inside this cute colorful envelope. What kind of seeds the officer asked? I gave the small envelope and showed it >> It's "forget me not."
